DAY 01Shanghai
Arrival beside the Huangpu
Meet your private guide at the airport or railway station and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, begin with a gentle Bund walk, a neighbourhood dinner or time to rest. Overnight in Shanghai.
DAY 02Shanghai
Old gardens, new horizons
Explore Yu Garden and the surrounding Old City before crossing into Shanghai's concession-era lanes. Continue with a museum, design district or local food experience, then see the skyline from the Bund or an optional Huangpu River cruise. Overnight in Shanghai.
DAY 03Shanghai → Suzhou
Gardens and canal-side life
Travel to Suzhou by high-speed train or private vehicle. Visit a classical garden such as the Humble Administrator's Garden, then follow the waterways of Pingjiang Road with an optional boat ride, silk workshop or intimate Pingtan performance. Overnight in Suzhou.
DAY 04Suzhou → Nanjing
Into the southern capital
Transfer to Nanjing and begin with the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum precinct or Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, shaped around opening times and your interests. Walk one of the city's grand plane-tree avenues before an evening by Xuanwu Lake or the Qinhuai River. Overnight in Nanjing.
DAY 05Nanjing
Walls, museums and living history
Explore a selected stretch of the Ming City Wall and the Zhonghua Gate area, then choose between the Nanjing Museum, Presidential Palace or a deeper historical visit. Finish among Laomendong's restored lanes and local flavours. Overnight in Nanjing.
DAY 06Nanjing → Hangzhou
First light on West Lake
Travel south to Hangzhou and settle into your hotel before an unhurried introduction to West Lake. Walk or cruise between willow-lined causeways, pagoda views and lakeside gardens, with time for tea or sunset. Overnight in Hangzhou.
DAY 07Hangzhou
Tea hills and temple calm
Visit Lingyin Temple and its stone carvings, then continue into the Longjing tea hills for a village walk and seasonal tea experience. The afternoon can include a lakeside cycle, craft workshop or free time around your preferred neighbourhood. Overnight in Hangzhou.
DAY 08Hangzhou → Wuzhen
A night in the water town
Travel by private vehicle to Wuzhen and enter its historic canal district. Explore bridges, timber halls and traditional workshops by day, then remain after many day visitors leave to see lanterns reflected across the water. Overnight in Wuzhen.
DAY 09Wuzhen → Shanghai
Return to Shanghai and depart
Enjoy an early waterside walk before your private transfer back to Shanghai. Travel directly to the airport for your return flight, with timing planned around check-in and traffic. If your departure is later, a final lunch or brief Shanghai stop can be arranged.
